Violence escalated in two cites outside the capital Cairo Thursday where anti-government protesters torched a fire station and looted weapons that they then turned on police. Egypt's top democracy advocate returned to the country and declared he was ready to lead the campaign to oust longtime President Hosni Mubarak.

Social networking sites were abuzz with talk that Friday's rallies could be some of the biggest so far calling for the ouster of Mubarak after 30 years in power. Millions gather at mosques across the city for Friday prayers, providing organizers with a huge number of people already out on the streets to tap into. By Thursday evening, Facebook, Twitter, cell phone text messages as well as Blackberry Messenger services were interrupted, possibly a move by authorities to hamper protesters from organizing.

“Malaysian students are safe” said the Ministry Of Higher Education. They are not involved in any reformation movement or any demonstration. In fact, they are frightened out by the protestors that always bring weapons. Food is another problem to them. They are now facing with the shortage of food supply due to the demonstration.

Malaysian government together with Egypt planned to transfer our student out from Egypt; maybe to Saudi or Jordan. Students always welcome to come back to Malaysia, but the expenses are upon to the student themselves.

How long will it takes? How long the demonstrations will go on? How about our students? Government of Malaysia should really take this issue seriously. There are around 11000 of Malaysian students in Egypt. Action must be taken before it getting worse.

IF I COULD RULE THE WORLD, I WOULD...I really want to rule the world. I would love to get such an opportunity.
One thing i really wish i want to do if i rule the world is i will make sure that every person in this world get their basic necessity in life such as water, food(good food).shelter(a house),clean clothing, education(because every human have to know about their rights) and happiness.

I will make sure that there is nothing such as poverty, discrimination, hunger, abuse or anything atrocious happen in this world. If every human should have this thought, there won't be a thing such as all that in this world. Therefore, i will make everyone to think in this sense.

Furthermore, I will make the world a 'happy happy and only happy' place. A place full of smiles, happiness and laughter. When we wake up every morning, we should be excited to face the world.

To anyone reading my blog out there, i hope that you can do this.
Wake up everyday with a smile on your face and just look how your day can change.

2010 goes by with thousands of memories. Now it’s time for 2011 show up.  The year begins with another new semester for us as MICET’s student. New challenges are waiting for us. New subjects, new lecturers, new way of thinking, as we all keep walking towards our dream; to become a chemical engineer.

2011 seems to be promising to us. Last semester taught us the meaning of how hard to achieve something in this life. How hard we have to struggle and push ourselves beyond the limits to reach our dream. So, this semester onwards, we have to be more aggressive. No more last minute study, no more stay up at night for something that non-academic activities.

Every student wants a good result. So do us. We want to get a better result compared to last semester. It is not an easy task. The new subjects became more and more difficult. We have to put greater effort to pass with flying colours for this semester. Exercises, tutorials, assignments; these are the things that can help us to get a good result. It’s just a matter of attitude; do it if you want to pass. If not, well, you still have to do it then.

We have to change ourselves. It’s not the time for us to enjoy for nothing. We have to keep walking, and at the end of the day, we will enjoy the bliss of achieving our own dream.

Child abuse is the physical , emotional or sexual mistreatment of children. Almost five children found dead everyday due to child abuse. More than three out of four are under the age of 4.
so, what's child abuse?

The Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act defines child abuse and neglect as: “at a minimum, any recent act or failure to act on the part of a parent or caretaker, which results in death, serious physical or emotional harm, sexual abuse or exploitation, or an act or failure to act which presents an imminent risk of serious harm.”

There are many types of child abuse. For example,
physical abuse, emotional abuse, & sexual abuse, neglect.

There is a story i would like to share with all of you. I felt so touched by how a little girl's life just changed because of the scary scene that happened in her life.

Annie hated her step-mother. Her step-mother always shows her displeasure when Annie came each summer to visit her father and her brother, who is only three years younger than Annie.

Her stepmother had a younger brother named Ken who stayed with them. There was this day that Annie was left at home alone with Ken.

He told her that they were going to play a game, she was excited as she likes playing. So, they built a playhouse. Ken told all things that she do not understand. But what happened was what she did not expect. He had abused her physically and sexually.

She cried and shivered but that did not stop him from behaving cruel towards her. She was terrified and scared. Her stepmother had come to rescue and she thought she was safe. But the security didn't stay long. Her stepmother grabbed her roughly ,leaving a painful bruise before bringing her naked around the house. Her neighbors had seen and heard all. She was humiliated, her stepmother was shouting about how disgusting Annie was before beating her backside with a belt. Luckily her dad had came and stopped her. Even so, she was traumatized badly.

Years had gone but pain never fade in Annie's life.Years later, she was abused by her school teacher. She was blackmailed to not let anyone know about what he had been doing to her in the store room, or not she will be failed and he will complain about her to her stepmother . She was physically tortured and also mentally. She became depressed and mentally ill and was sent to the hospital. She was under medication for about 3 years. And finally after the treatment, she was better. Annie had lived a suffering life since the incident happened to her. Now, it has been 5 years since then. She quietly prays that whatever happened to her won't happen to anyone in this world.

So, I would to say to all out there that children are the most precious gift. We should protect, cherish, love them by all means.

STOP CHILD ABUSE!!!
