sindhu D great

You can come up with plenty of excuses for not doing something. Its easy to put off doing an unpleasant task.
For example,
"I can't study now because i have football practice at night." or
"I can't attend the discussion because I have to pay the bills." or
" I can't do the dishes now because I have to get a haircut."

At some time or other, everyone procrastinates but why?

How do you conquer this problem? The first step in conquering this problem is to recognize the actual reasons for procrastinating:
  • you're not sure you can do it
  • you're afraid it will involve too much time and effort
  • you're uneasy in new situation
  • you don't want to be disturbed
  • its' hard for you to get started

Knowing why you're procrastinating will help you to overcome the tendency to put things off and you'll find it easier to get moving.

HOW TO TRICK AND BEAT PROCRASTINATION?

We all to rewarded for a job done and if we know there 's going to be a reward at the end, we will be more motivated at the start. Trick yourself into working now by promising yourself a treat later such as having a snack( healthy), spend time with your pet or take a little walk.
This way you can improve yourself in beating procrastination.

USE PROCRASTINATION TO GET SOMETHING DONE!!

Distract yourself from one job by another. This works especially well if both task are the kind that makes you procrastinate, like studying history or biology and cleaning out the closet. Watch the clock , don't spend more than 20 minutes on one job. You can set the time in the timer to avoid spending too much time in a job.

I do my work at the same time each day - the last minute.
Putting off an easy thing makes it hard. Putting off a hard thing makes it impossible.
A year from now you may wish you had started today.
Procrastination is the thief of time.
